You will find most of the rice bowls served at syokudo and teishoku or casual restaurants where you will find most food staples in Japanese homes. If you are wondering where to eat donburi in Hiroshima, here are some recommendations:


1. Marumi Shokudō


This shokodu restaurant on Hondori is quite popular for its generous serving of rice bowls. Katsudon, or pork cutlet rice bowl, in particular, is the word of mouth. They are not served in a typical bowl of fluffy rice but instead complemented with soup and a side dish.
