Hiroshima Kushikatsu Guide: 7 Best Kushikatsu in Hiroshima

Skewers are popular across the globe, and they are of several varieties. But in Japan, they call their skewers the kushikatsu.

Kushikatsu is essentially deep-fried food on sticks, consisting of battered meat and vegetables. It’s irresistible and is all over Japan.

This Japanese food is dear to Hiroshima. The kushikatsu in this city often uses local seafood, as the place is near the Seto Inland Sea. Furthermore, apart from pairing it best together with Hiroshima’s okonomiyaki, the batter of their kushikatsu is lighter and crispier than that in Osaka, where the skewers are more popular. Find out where to eat the best kushikatsu in Hiroshima today.
