Hiroshima Soba Guide: 8 Best Soba in Hiroshima

Hiroshima sets the perfect scene for irresistible soba noodles. Soba is basically Japan’s take on Italian spaghetti. Made of buckwheat flour, these noodles are roughly as thick as your spaghetti. Usually, soba is served cold with a dipping sauce on the side. If the diner prefers it hot, it is in the form of a noodle soup.

Sobas in Hiroshima play an important part in the city’s okonomiyakis, to which the noodles are an ingredient of. This makes its soba special and unique from traditional buckwheat noodles elsewhere in Japan. Join us on an adventure to the best soba restaurants in Hiroshima!
